PRIVATE HOUSE IN MALLORCA

Refurbished family house in the municipality of Santanyí (Mallorca).
Completion date: May 2024

Renovation of an old Mallorcan house in which the architectural structure of the 1960s has been saved. The entire interior has been renovated and the entire exterior finish has been carefully preserved.

The ground floor, which houses five common living areas, is completely diaphanous horizontally and vertically, as it communicates visually through a large glass window that also acts as a floor and ceiling. In addition, the ceiling of the upper floor, also transparent, is completely open, which intensifies the feeling of spaciousness.

The lighting design emphasises indirect and accent lighting which, in order to personalise each of the ambiences, does not disturb each other and, at the same time, does not invade the night vision to the outside provided by the transparent glass ceiling.

The finishes in brown, beige and white tones and direct access to the sea through an extensive garden with local flora give it a typically Mediterranean feel.
