An event of light, wine and gastronomy at Bodega Santa Catarina by Espaisillum
The tasting room of the Santa Catarina winery was the stage, on November 25 of the meeting Wine&Company. The event, organized in collaboration with Kreon Lighting, brought together a significant number of architects and interior designers from the island.
In addition to being able to share with them a pleasant time, outside working hours, they were able to get to know in situ the winery’s lighting project, a different and large-scale project, of which we are very proud.
After a few words of welcome, both Montse Vidal (from Kreon) and Tomeu Frontera, stressed the importance of having the contribution of professionals specialized in architectural projects, not only in lighting, but also in each of the processes that make up the projects.
Pepe Garcia Ruiz, from Rambla 9 Arquitectura, made an interesting intervention in which he explained how he designed the winery project so that the warehouses that house the warehouse and the production rooms, vinification and barrels converge in a central point, enabled for reception, offices, laboratory and tasting room. Both the offices and the laboratory have spectacular views over the vineyards and the plain of Mallorca.
After a review of the history of the winery by Andrés Negre and Joan Gutiérrez, manager and winemaker, all attendees were able to taste the first elaborated and bottled wines of the winery in this new stage and enjoy a brief guided tour of the facilities.
Finally, the prestigious chef Adrian Quetglas and his team elaborated an exquisite and spectacular 10-step menu, carefully presented and specially designed for the occasion, all paired with the wines of the winery.
